I put in a Fafco Bear solar heater 21 years ago, I live in Canada so it has also been through 21 winters outside. That being said, it has been a great source of free, environmentally friendly heat for my pool, this year I finally have to replace it due to a leak. I would recommend this to anyone that would like an inexpensive, reliable source of free hot water for your pool. I would give it a 10 out of 10 for sure. Original cost was under $300.00 so basically $15 per year.

Purchased Fafco Solar Panels originally around 2008. Upgraded the system and got a 12 year warranty in 2014. Two of the panels recently went bad and I contacted Fafco via their website. They had a warranty process in place online. Took me about 20 minutes to complete the needed data. One working day later Fafco approved my claim and the panels were shipped to me one day after that. To say I was completely amazed would be an understatement.

After complete installation of FAFCO product, when testing we noted a small leak. Notified the company, within 24hrs was told it was covered under my warranty and they had me fill out form and send pictures and again within 24 hrs was notified a new product would be sent to me at no cost. They even covered the shipping cost as that was not covered under the warranty but for my inconvenience they would cover the shipping. And that was a generous thing to do due to the high cost of shipping.
